Skye Curtis is a hornist and music educator living in Norman, Oklahoma. After growing up in Texas, she attended the University of Oklahoma, where she attained bachelor’s degrees in horn performance and computer science and a master’s in horn performance under the tutelage of Dr. Matthew Reynolds and Dr. Eldon Matlick. Skye is an active freelance musician who has performed frequently with the Oklahoma City Philharmonic, the Tulsa Symphony, and the Norman Philharmonic orchestras. In addition to her performing career, Skye is an adjunct professor teaching music industry courses at Missouri Southern State University and horn at Rose State College and Oklahoma Baptist University. She also manages her own private studio teaching middle- and high-school students across the Oklahoma City metro.
